Return Policy – Curiosities by Simplicio

At Curiosities by Simplicio, every item has a story — and we want you to love the one you bring home.
Because our pieces are vintage and antique, each has its own character, history, and signs of age. We do our best to describe and photograph items accurately so you know exactly what you’re receiving.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns on most items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be returned in the same condition it was received.

• The item must be securely packaged for its safe return.

• Buyers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item arrives damaged or not as described.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method (excluding original shipping costs).

Items That Cannot Be Returned

• Items listed as “Sale” or “Clearance”.

• Any item that has been used, altered, or damaged after receipt.

• Fragile antiques or delicate vintage items that have been damaged in transit back to us due to improper packaging.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.
We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue, whether through a refund or replacement (if available).

International Returns

We’re happy to accept international returns under the same conditions as above.
Please mark your package clearly as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges — we cannot cover any import fees incurred due to incorrect labelling.

How to Start a Return

Please email us at info@curiositiesbysimplicio.co.uk with:

• Your order number

• Item name

• Reason for return

We’ll provide return instructions and the correct return address.
